Then? Who will he ask for the money to be brought back? He is surely not going to axe his own foot. The law to ban criminals from standing in elections need to be passed by the govt in power. Do you think they will pass? In the last parliament, BJP and Congress had the max no of criminals elected with their tickets. And they both boast of being clean and pan-India parties. Now, beat that.
