The mouthwatering contest between the Chennai Super Kings and Deccan Chargers went into the final over as DC beat CSK by 6 wickets in their 4th match.  Thus establishing their firm control at the top of the table and keeping a clean slate.

@chintam, true and now we see what happened when both Gilly and Gibbs didnt fire. DC needs another establised batsman at the middle to bolster its batting attack.

In addition to being the good bowling unit, DC’s success so far was mainly due to Gilchrist and/or Gibbs performing well at the top.

It’ll be a good test for the team in terms of batting, should both of them fail at the top. But, it doesn’t look like they fail anyway as they both seem to have got the hang of Twenty20
