With the help of the great guys at Just host, i managed to migrate over all the data from my wordpress blog to this new domain. There are a few duplicates here and there and also the blogroll hasnt been updated. Am in the process of fixing up all the small niggles.
Your advise, words of encouragement, criticism is very much appreciated as i start off this new journey. Plan to write more on my investments, politics, economy, integrate all my pictures and much much more. More importantly, i plan to segregate all of them well so that someone looking for information on this blog doesnt need to crack his head.
Thanks for dropping by. Much appreciated.

One of my favourite blogger, Amit Varma of Indiauncut is back after a hiatus.
This reminds me of an obviously apocryphal story a friend told me a couple of decades ago. The story concerned MF Husain, who got painter’s block one day and couldn’t think of what to make. Finally, in desperation, he took off all his clothes, poured red paint on himself, and went and sat on a canvas. He called the painting ‘Apple’, and it sold for Rs. 10 lakhs.

One of my most favourite blogger, Amit Varma of IndiaUncut has won the 2007 Frederic Bastiat Prize for Journalism. Varma is known for his satirical take on the various issues that plague Indian society in general. The 3 nominated essays of Amit were:
Where’s the freedom party
A beast called Government
The Devil’s compassion
Varma received the Prize of US$10,000 and an engraved crystal candlestick, evoking Frédéric Bastiat’s satirical essay in which the candle makers of France petition the government to block out their competition: the sun.
