Its the final week leading into my faviourite times of the year. Its Christmas time. I love the feeling. Wish i was back home to the cold, wintery temperatures of Hyderabad. Not to forget the warm cakes, appams, chicken stew and other eatables, the christmas trees, the star in front of the house, the singing of carols….

Put up the Christmas tree at home quite early this time.

Happy Holidays

Its a nice 3 day weekend for this Diwali. Here’s wishing all of you and your loved ones a Happy & Prosperous Diwali in advance.

Say no to crackers that cause noise and air pollution. There are better ways of celebrating the festival with family and friends.

We are in the final 2 months of the year. 2010 seems to have sped past even before we could realise. Some bumper performance by the companies pre-Diwali and am sure when the 3rd quarter results are unveiled, there could be even better performance to see. Not to mention, Obama making his trip to India coinciding with the festival.
Enjoy the holidays and stay safe.

Wishing all of you and your loved ones a very Happy & Prosperous Onam.

Though am back in Singapore and have no chance of celebrating Onam at home with friends and family, i had the opportunity to have an early Onam lunch. Mum made sure to make parippu, avial, thoran, sambar, pappadam, injicurry, pachadi and rice payasam for us last week itself.
Back at work after a 2 week hectic trip to Hyderabad. Had no chance to meet any friends in person and even call them up. Am sure most would be angry and disappointed with me. I promise to make it up on my next trip home
