Its payback time as the monster spawned, aided and abetted by succesive Pakistani governments, military and the rogue spy agency, ISI is coming to haunt them.

2

The fire that Pakistan so used to burn India has finally engulfed its own house.  Sad, but there is not much being learnt by Pakistan even when every city of it is being bombed by the monsters they helped create to spread terror in India and Afghanistan.

1

Has Pakistan learnt anything from this horrific events in the past 10 odd days when close to 300 people have been killed in a wave of violence?  Nothing much seems to have change according to this article.

Times might be tough for the ordinary people of Pakistan, but business has never been better for the traders of Gun Alley. Here, less than 50 miles from British forces in Afghanistan, across lawless terrain deep inside Pakistan’s border, all that an Islamic militant could ever want for jihad is freely available.

In the weapons section of Smuggler’s Bazaar – a medieval market where heroin, fake identities and killers for hire can be found for less than the price of a second-hand car – guns, bombs and suicide belts are also in ready supply.

3

At this market on the outskirts of the frontier town of Peshawar – a dusty, violent place of narrow alleys and murderous intrigue, within 90 minutes’ drive of the capital Islamabad – the discerning Holy Warrior can choose from AK-47s, mortars, anti-tank missiles and assorted explosives for suicide bombs.

Every item of hardware on sale in these mud-walled shops is in perfect working order. If you want proof, the traders will willingly give you a demonstration of their firepower.

And that’s not all. Terrorists can buy military secrets here, extracted from laptops looted during ambushes on Nato convoys travelling through the treacherous Khyber Pass. Many outline Nato operations against Taliban targets in terrifying detail.

Replicas of Nato military uniforms are also on sale. Over cups of sweet tea, Islamic militants arrive here from all over Pakistan and Afghanistan to buy the means to achieve their barbaric aims.

More articles on how the US has ignored / nurtured ISI, the rogue Pakistani intelligence agency.  So much that it has today gone out of control and has become the organiser and funds one of the world’s largest terrorist network.

Some good articles that nail the Pakistani lie

Pakistan’s JihadThe Weekly Standard

Risk Factors – New Yorker

How to break a terrorist – Time

Interview with Rakesh Maria (Mumbai Joint Commissioner of Police) – Read all the 3 parts of the interview where he puts forth most of the evidence that indicates Pakistani Army/ISI involvement in the Mumbai attacks.  And also proof that all the terrorists involved in the Mumbai attack were Pakistani nationals.

Pakistan on track to be named terrorist state?

Posted by Liju Philip | Posted in bombay, India, intelligence agency, islamabad, karachi, lahore, mumbai, pakistan, terror, World | Posted on 07-12-2008

As India cranks up the heat, pressure seems to be mounting on Pakistan in the past 72 hours trying to evade the multiple evidences and proof that Pakistan was responsible for the mayhem in Mumbai last week.  Meanwhile, Pakistan even tried to play a game of  hoax call from the external affairs minister of India, Pranab Mukherjee where he reportedly threatened Zardari.  All this just to deflect the pressure and try to play up other angles in a bid to wriggle out of the tight situation it is in. At the end, the call was found to be fake.  I wonder with the kind of communication systems the President of Pakistan uses, I can call up Zaradri tomorrow and say that i want to whip his ass and he might panic and set his armed forces on high alert.

Meanwhile, India has given the names of 3 people to Pakistan and asked them to be extradited.  Also has given Pakistan 48 hours to crack down on the Pakistani home grown terrorist organisation Lashkar-e-Toiba.  The 3 people asked to be extradited are

Lieutenant General Hamid Gul – Ex ISI chief

Yusuf Muzammil - Lashkar-e-Toiba mastermind

Zaki ur Rahman Lakhvi – Lashkar-e-Toiba commander (also known with the following names – Zakir Rehman, Abu Waheed, Irshad Ahmad and Arshad Chachajee)

The Pakistani media tried to put a lot of spin around the Mumbai attacks by trying to point out to some yellow thread around the terrorist’s hands and stuff, but finally in face of mounting evidence and of the testimony of the lone captured terrorist Ajmal Amir Kasab and his family in Pakistan, it seems time is running out for Pakistan.

toyota_taliban

No one is doubting Zardari and his government’s involvement in the Mumbai attack, but its a known fact that democratically elected government of Pakistan has no locus standi in their country.  The country is virtually ruled by the Pakistani army and their rogue intelligence agency ISI.  Maybe it was all done by the ISI and the Pakistani army without the kowledge of Zardari and his government.  Or maybe, even the plan was hatched and executed by some rogue element of the rogue Pakistani spy agency ISI.  Maybe the head of Pakistani Army and ISI had no inkling of what was happening, but the truth is that the Mumbai attacks were planned, trained, executed and guided by Pakistani nationals.

Zardari can cry hoarse at his innocence, and even if he will act against the  ISI or the Pakistani Army, he would be blown up in another car bomb attack just like his wife Benazir Bhutto was.   Benazir though was no innocent woman. She was responsible for cranking up the terrorism in Kashmir and gave a free hand to the Pakistani Army and their rogue intelligence agency, ISI to foment terrorism in Kashmir.  She ultimately paid for her deeds with her life.

headless-chickenIts precisely what Pakistan is facing today.  The frankenstein monster in the form of Taliban is hitting it from Afghanistan.  The home grown terrorists of Pakistan like Lashkar-e-Toiba, Jaish Mohammad etc are out of their hands.  They have created monsters on which they have no control.  Today Pakistan is like a headless chicken running around with nuclear weapons in its hands.  A perfect failed state with a rabid fundamentalist Islamic terror having taken root and spread its venom in the society.  Terrorists running amok.  Shia and Sunnis blowing each other up.  The Army and ISI behaving as a state within a state.  The PPP led government of Zardari has no say in the running of the country.

With a depleted FDI, no money in the bank for imports, Pakistan is a major headache not only for India, but for the whole world. Madeline Albright rightly called Pakistan a migraine for the whole world.

Its in such times that i envy countries like the US, Australia or the Europe for the kind of neighbours each one of them has.  Each one progressive, democratic, an army that stays in the barracks and not tries to govern, liberalism, freedom of speech, dynamic economies, people who are busy trying to make a better life for themselves and for others. And then look at the sub-continent.  We got nut cases in the form of Pakistan, Bangladesh who themselves have no future but find great happiness in troubling their neighbours.

Pakistani nukes in American hands?

Just as expected, or as rumoured, Pakistan’s nuclear weapons are already under American control. Surely the US cant sit aside and fiddle its thumbs as Pakistani politics goes for a roller coaster ride.

Years ago, there were rumours that in case of Musharraf being killed by the extremists or the jehadis taking over the country, there would be a 3 pronged attack by Israel, USA and India on Pakistan and the USA would either decamp with the nuclear weapons or take control of the nuclear facilities and the weapons.

But according to latest reports, it seems the USA has already had its way…

In a stunning disclosure certain to stir up things in Washington’s (and in Islamabad and New Delhi’s) strategic community, the journal Stratfor reported on Monday that the “United States delivered a very clear ultimatum to Musharraf in the wake of 9/11: Unless Pakistan allowed US forces to take control of Pakistani nuclear facilities, the United States would be left with no choice but to destroy those facilities, possibly with India’s help.”

“This was a fait accompli that Musharraf, for credibility reasons, had every reason to cover up and pretend never happened, and Washington was fully willing to keep things quiet,” the journal, which is widely read among the intelligence community, said.

The Stratfor commentary came in response to an earlier New York Times story that reported that the Bush administration had spent around $100 million to help Pakistan safeguard its nuclear weapons, but left it unclear if Washington has a handle on the arsenal.

“As the government of Pakistan totters, we must face a fact: the United States simply could not stand by as a nuclear-armed Pakistan descended into the abyss,” proposed Frederick Kagan and Michael O’Hanlon, analysts at two Washington DC think-tanks. “One possible plan would be a Special Forces operation with the limited goal of preventing Pakistan’s nuclear materials and warheads from getting into the wrong hands.”

The Pakistan Political Cirucs continues…

Faced with certain censure and with the prospect of the Supreme Court of Pakistan asking him to step down, Pervez Musharraf behaved just like any other true blue dictator would. Impose emergency on the country.

pervez musharraf

I have always believed that there is no scope for democracy in Pakistan. No matter Nawaz Sharif or Benazir Bhutto or for that matter any Tom, Dick or Harry wins elections in Pakistan and takes power, the Army will never sit silent.

The Inter Services Intelligence (ISI), the spy agency of Pakistan is a rouge organisation. Its as culpable for terrorism in the whole of South Asia and formenting trouble in Kashmir and the rest of India as Saudi Arabia is in the rest of the world. The officers of ISI run clandestine support and funding of the Taliban and other terrorist organisations in the North West Frontier of Pakistan, Afghanistan, Kashmir etc.

pakistan emergency

A democratic government is a sure impediment in their plans of having an iron grip hold on the Pakistani society and its economy. Its no secret that the years that Musharraf has been in power, it has been consolidation time for the Pakistani Army and ISI in general. Today, there is no aspect of Pakistani economy that is not under the stranglehold of the ISI and army. Telecom, ports, real estate, infrastructure, banks, finance etc are all headed by retired army servicemen. A measure of Musharraf wanting to keep the various power centres in the army happy with plush postings.
To shift public attention away from the muck raising at home, the ISI would try to forment trouble on the India – Pak border. Pakistan, like China is a country that can never be trusted. The only thing India can do is to be on guard.
