  1. Ahhh….some good news! I have been hearing only depressing, negative news nowadays. This is refreshing.

  2. lazybug says:

The ring road is going to take another 1 year (I guess). Till then, commuters’ lives will be hell!

  3. Liju Philip says:

Krishna., i just hope this is the starting of more such good news. Bangalore airport opens on 30th March. Then there is the renovation going on at Bombay & Delhi airports. Some good work. Finally.

Akhil, other than the roads, am more worried about the same old morons of Begumpet occupying the new airport. Even though the hardware is spanking new, i have no great expectations from our govt employees / police / customs who man the airport. Old wine in new bottle. That’s it.

  4. dinsan says:

looks too good.. u will be happy when u go to Hyd next time.. howz the it to live there in Hyd ? compared to Bglore ? will tell u why i asked it .. later πŸ˜‰

  5. Liju Philip says:

Dinsan, compared to Blr, Hyd is much cheaper for sure. You dont need to pay deposits of at least 8-10 months (like in Blr) to get a house in Hyd. Rentals are cheaper & infrastructure is far far better in Hyd than Blr.

Btw, i think i have an inkling of why you are comparing the two cities πŸ˜‰

  6. Jaiswal says:

Liju, building a world class airport is a good start. I would like to see the airport staff develop some class (a tiny bit) too.

  7. How nice i think this is largest port in all over the asia.
note: Is there any job opportinity please inform me on this E-mail address. thanks & regards
    Mohammed Amjed Hussain

  8. Liju Philip says:

@Jaiswal, the govt employees are a special breed. The world can change, but their pathetic performance doesnt change. Cant help it.

@Mohd, its not the largest airport in Asia. Its one of the finest in India. Singapore, KL, HK, China etc have bigger and better airports. But happy that things are changing for the better in India. Sorry buddy, am just a blogger. Please visit the airport website for jobs.

  9. zed says:

please for gods sake dress them well and teach them to talk atleast english.i mean the english which everyone can understand.usually i arrive in the early hours and them in sleepy moods coz they have been sleeping the whole night hehehe.

show some class to our visitors yaar.we brag so much about cyber stuff so prove it.

  10. Liju Philip says:

@Zed, i can understand your concerns. Hope the new employees working in the airport will at least take their job seriously.

  11. Telugu Guy says:

People, Whats gonna happen to the old hyd airport? Are there any plans for a nice city park or something to make the city greener. I guess hyderabad deserves a nice big park considering the miniscule number of parks there currently are and the huge population of Hyd. I am sure there is enough place for a park.
