Its confirmed. Sourav Ganguly has decided to call it quits at the end of the forthcoming Aussie series. Thank God for small mercies 😉
Now, can Kumble, Dravid, Tendulkar and Laxman also take the hint? Please. No offence, but we have had enough. We need to start building a team for the next world cup. And for that we need to get rid of the dead wood. Now.

You are callous Liju, Zalim bolte na jiskoo.
But you are right.
India is supreme to me. Not Sachin, Sourav, Dravid, Kumble, VVS etc. No one is bigger than the country or the game. Its better that the players realise it earlier and take a honorable exit.
Life Geoff Boycott said, most of the players in the Indian team are just hanging on for the endorsements and the commercial interest. So true.
Isn’t 65 the retirement age? Surely he can play until he’s 65. 🙂
Quirky Indian
@QI,err… sorry, galti se mistake ho gaya 😉
I hope he kicks ass in his last series.
@Akhil, am desperately waiting to see that.
I agree. It is time for the oldies to leave and let the young ones take wing.

Ott, made the change.
Only Cowards insult dying Majesty…
…and what do they call non-performers clinging on to the team using their political clout? So you do agree that your Majesty is indeed dying.
A good reason to give him the boot from the team 😉
